How do I know if my child needs an early-intervention screening?
If your child is under age 5 and you have any concern about speech, motor skills, social interaction, or behavior — a screening is appropriate. It's free with us, takes about 30 minutes, and you'll leave with a clear next step.
Are your services free?
Most of our family-facing services are free or sliding-scale. Specialized programs may have a small fee; nobody is turned away for inability to pay.
Do you serve families outside Miami-Dade?
Yes — many of our resources, the online academy, and parent coaching are virtual. In-person services are concentrated in Miami-Dade and Broward, but we partner with organizations across all 67 Florida counties.
Can I sponsor a specific child or family?
Direct sponsorships of named individuals aren't possible for compliance reasons, but you can sponsor a program or geography that supports many families at once.
Is Self Learning Academy a 501(c)(3)?
Yes — registered in Miami-Dade County, Florida. Donations are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
Do you offer services in Spanish?
Sí — every program, masterclass, and resource is bilingual EN/ES. Most of our team is bilingual, and several members are bicultural Latin American clinicians.
